Hello everyone. Been a busy bee lately that I have not had the time to blog since Men’s fashion week. Women’s ready to wear is in full swing now. Follow my Blog’s Instagram for my daily fashion show updates.
Award season came to an end this past Sunday with the Oscars. What an amazing time for fashion. The many glitz and glamour was evidently there. Here are my top 10 list of the Best Dressed women.
Lupita Nyong’o is on the top of every one’s list and can you blame her. Lupita has become a red carpet fashion icon. That amazing pearl halter top bead work gown from Calvin Klein is what put her on top.
Marion Cotillard was a vision in Dior. An amazing dress front and that detail on the back made me like her dress. Marion brings that extra french fashion sense to every Dior gown she wears and she pulls it off.
Reese Witherspoon was stunning in custom made Tom Ford. The pastel color with black velvet accents gave her look a classic yet modern look.
Margot Robbie was sexy in Saint Laurent. This was so perfect on many levels from hair, make up and accessories to that über chic plunging neckline. It was minimalist yet sexy without being vulgar.
Not a fan of Jennifer Aniston but her Atelier Versace gown was amazing. Those panels curves made her already amazing body look more envious to everyone else. I love the sheer bottom half of the dress. It was appropriate sexyness.
Rosemound Pike in Givenchy Haute Couture. Very flawless from a recent pregnant woman. The details on the dress, amazing. The slit on her dress, to die for.
Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralph & Russo. I mean, where do I start? I did not like it at first but it grew on me through out the night. It was pink, pretty and girly yet modern and chic.
A pregnant Kiera Knightly in Valentino Haute Couture. She looked elegant and was glowing from her pregnancy. It was youthful yet not tacky of a dress.
Anna Kendrick in Thakoon. I love the silhouette and color. The color complimented her skin. The dress was youthful with classic touches. The key hole was appropriate and that crystal neckline was an elegant touch.
Julianne Moore in custom Chanel was stunning. It was classic, timesless and very Chanel. The bead and appliqué were amazing to look at.
The men’s had some color that I really liked. All tuxedos used were modern, slim and classic.
Eddie Redmayne was the cool kid in Bespoke Alexander McQueen navy tuxedo. The classic tux modernized in color, the black lapels and bowtie won my vote. Eddie knows his fashion, he’s been on the top dressed list for this award season.
Neil Patrick Harris burgundy Valentino tux looked amazing on stage. The accents of the the color black made the jacket stand out more. I noticed it and loved it.
Jared Leto in a custom Givenchy tux in a pastel color paired with white shoes was a favorite of mine. If Jared’s hair was styled he would’ve looked more polished. Nonetheless, I still liked it.
Robert Pattinson did not attend the Oscars yet showed up at the Vanity Fair’s Oscar after party. The blue color tux was slim and modern with what looks like leather lapels. Robert usually goes for the heroine/grunge chic look but he sure can clean up.
We cannot talk about men’s fashion without mentioning Benedict Cumberbatch. He truly has been very dapper and debonair this award season. The white jacket with black accents really made him look classic and timesless.
